Who we are

Kosovo Glass Recycling (KGR) was founded with a vision to tackle one of Kosovo’s growing environmental challenges—glass waste. With limited recycling infrastructure in the country, most glass ended up in landfills, posing environmental risks and wasted opportunities. Recognizing this gap, KGR was created to turn discarded glass into valuable, sustainable products.

Starting as a small initiative, we focused on repurposing waste glass into terrazzo tiles, countertops, and Glass Media for Pool Filtration. Through innovation and a commitment to sustainability, we developed processes that not only reduce waste but also provide businesses and consumers with high-quality, eco-friendly alternatives to traditional materials.

Today, KGR stands as a pioneer in the region’s circular economy, proving that sustainability and profitability can go hand in hand. What began as a solution to a waste problem has evolved into a growing business that supports industries, municipalities, and households in their journey toward a greener future.
